Check a Reddit post with a video
Paste a link to a single Reddit post with a video. The post must be public; image posts, galleries and subreddit feeds are not accepted.
Live status: not tested yet No real download has been proven locally for this platform yet. Input, validation and the flow are implemented; the source may still refuse the request. No success is promised.
Your input and any running jobs are kept when you switch.
Download your own content or content you have permission to download. Being publicly visible does not automatically mean a download is allowed.
Not part of the service
- Subreddit feeds and user pages
- Galleries and image-only posts
- Chats and live threads
- locked or private subreddits
Good to know
- Reddit reports different media depending on the post. Images and galleries produce no video formats.
- The age of a post does not matter; the rights holder’s permission does.
Questions about this platform
Why does the service find no video?
Many Reddit posts are images or link to external sites. A file can only be prepared when the post itself contains a video and the source reports formats.
Are subreddit feeds supported?
No. Only single post links are recognised. Downloading whole subreddits would be a bulk download and is excluded.
The same limits apply everywhere: at most 200 MiB and 10 minutes per job, retrieval for 30 minutes at most, a limited queue and rate limits. Download only content that belongs to you or that you have explicit permission for. Public visibility is not permission.
